Injury Accident
Deputies were dispatched to an injury accident in the 1000 block of NE 140 Rd.
On 09/21/2026 at 1108 hours, deputies were dispatched to the 1000 block of NE 140 Rd, for report of an Injury Accident. Investigation revealed that a Gold 2007 Ford Escape, operated by Robert L. Beck, was traveling West on NE 140 Rd approaching NE 110 Ave. Barton County Road and Bridge Department was actively working in the 1000 block of NE 140 Rd and had the roadway closed to west bound traffic. The Ford Escape struck the rear passenger corner of the unoccupied Barton County Road and Bridge Ford F350. The Ford Escape exited the roadway on the north side, stiking a mailbox. The Ford Escape continued west in the north ditch and struck a culvert, the vehicle then entered back onto the roadway and came to a rest. The front seat passenger of the Ford Escape, identified as Nancy Beck was transported to Clara Barton Hospital for non-life threatening injuries. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Claflin EMS. Lt.
